Best Android 13 Features

Android has always been seen as the OS that champions easy user-friendly customization for the masses. Android 12 introduced some really fun elements to the Google smartphone operating system, but it was not without a bit of controversy.

when the Pixel 6 series of devices launched, but with those regular security patches and OS updates, things have improved and now we find ourselves. Here with Android 13 which is probably one of the smoothest operating systems that the Android team has put out. And while Android 13 isn’t a huge difference from 12 some refinements are noteworthy.

Set Different Languages in Different Apps

In Android 13 you can experience different languages in a specific application. when your phone is running with another language and you can change the language of any apps directly from sitting without running those applications. so cool for example your language is English but you can change the language of apps directly from the setting to french touch or any language you want

QR Code Scanner

For Android devices, open up the camera then Google Lens, and scan the QR code. Now you can simply add the scan QR code tile to your quick settings and access that option system-wide. If you are in another app doing something and you need to quickly scan a QR code now you can pull the shade down and get it. Then use the fast app switcher to go back to what you were doing previously. Google has also given you a new tile for a one-handed mode. Another refinement, which makes a lot of sense, is this when you’re in the notification shade if you fully expand it, you’ll now see that the settings cog is at the bottom of the screen instead of the top right next to that you’ll also get the power button just a much easier way to get to it.

Bluetooth LE and Spatial Audio

Android 13 is Bluetooth celly and spatial audio on the head tracking enabled headphones. spatial audio shifts the source of the sound based on how you turn your head and it makes you feel like you are in the middle of sports, games movies, or concerts. That’s awesome and Bluetooth is blue to slow energy.

Copy and Paste Functionality

Android is the gold standard of copy-and-paste functionality to me for the clipboard and it gets more useful in Android 13. When you copy text, you get this menu in the lower left similar to the screenshot menu, it gives you a few options for what you can do once you’ve copied your text but you can also edit your text right here in the clipboard so that when you go to paste later you have only the text you want to paste. Another great feature here is that if you choose to copy a photo instead of downloading it you’ll be able to tap on it and get the markup menu to edit or annotate right then and there. You should know that anything you put in that clipboard though will be automatically cleared after about an hour. Good news for sensitive data like we don’t know, passwords, account numbers, social security numbers, those types of things. And though this isn’t here now there are other security-minded features like the new photo picker.

Photo Access from Apps

Instead of going to upload a photo to an app and it had access to all of your gallery once this is instituted by app developers, an app will only have access to the photos you give it access to, and app notifications are now opt-in meaning an app you just downloaded won’t be able to send you notifications by default. You’ll get a message asking if you want that app to send you notifications. And speaking of new app-level features there’s an active apps menu new which gives you more granular control over which apps are running in the foreground.

Active Apps Menu

This feature is the huge per-app language support. So if you’re living here in the States but communicate regularly with family members in another part of the world, in your mother tongue you can set an app like what’s the app or any other communications apps, for example, to run in that language if supported.

Theming Best Android 13 Features

Your app icons, what does that mean? Well, here’s what your app icons look like with it turned off, and here’s what your app icons look like with it turned on. They color match your wallpaper and you know have some other enhancements, refinements, and augmentations. When you turn on that beta feature and you’re also going to get more color options to compliment your wallpapers. Now you’re going to get 25 multicolor options and 20 single-color options to compliment your wallpapers and you’ll see a preview of them right there in the wallpaper and style menu.
